Copper River Infrastructure Services focuses on providing our clients with Construction Management, General Contractor, and Civil Engineering support services. By overseeing and managing these often complex, multifaceted projects, Copper River IS ensures our clients’ projects are on-schedule, on-budget, are within scope and function, and meet the highest quality and safety standards possible. Our Civil Engineering services range from design, construction, renovation and maintenance of buildings, levees, dams, sewage systems, runways, roads, and bridges. Copper River IS employs a team of highly knowledgeable Construction and Civil Engineering personnel that have over 25 years’ experience providing these services to the Federal Government. We have strong engineering, management, organizational, communication, and leadership skills that are necessary to successfully complete multifaceted projects and programs.
Jeff Babos, President
As the current President of Copper River Infrastructure Services, Mr. Jeff Babos brings his 16 years of leadership experience supporting the diverse needs of Alaskan Native Tribal companies. As an innovative, forward-thinking Senior-level Ex executive, Mr. Babos lends his expertise in operations, finance, and human talent to inspire teams and individuals to drive growth, improve operations, and increase profit for the greatest business outcomes. Mr. Babos is a retired U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarine Officer where he provided 21 years of distinguished military service.
Vivek Gowda, Executive Vice President
As Executive Vice President for Copper River Infrastructure Services, Mr. Vivek Gowda brings his 30 years of civil engineering and construction management leadership experience supporting the diverse needs of our valued customers. As an innovative engineer and manager, Mr. Gowda lends his expertise in civil engineering, construction management, and program leadership to lead teams and individuals to execute design-build and traditional bid-build construction and construction-related projects and programs throughout the country. Mr. Gowda is a registered professional civil engineer, a graduate of the University of Maryland, and has executed US Government and Military construction projects both as a civil servant and private industry professional.
